Pretty and in Distress

Miserella and I are too funny together. We never go to sleep because we lurk in the hallway being funny together. Sometimes until way past the witching hour. Although, one Monday night, we decided to try out a new back drop. So we sat down in the bathroom. We were discussing our day, and Miserella accidentally said the word "breful" in place of beautiful, and I have got to be honest. She is the most breful girl I have ever met. ;)
Last night, after girls' night out, turned into one of the girls getting engaged, I will admit, I was a little put out. Not only am I unattatched with no prospects, but we didn't even get to really have a girls' night! When I returned to the homestead, Miserella could tell that something was up, and then said if I went to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients. She would whip me up a lovely batch of mud balls. I could not resist. So Moana and I headed to the grocery store at compeletely reasonable time of 11:54 pm. We of course bought the essentials, but I began to feel a little incompetant. I will be honest. I've only ever been in the kitchen unsupervised probably 3 times, when making something with actual ingredients, not from a box or from the freezer. The first time I burnt my biceps 3 times... Yeah, even I cannot recreate those cirumstances... The second was mostly successful, after calling my sister, Thursday, a million times to ask completely idiotic questions like, "Do you really need eggs to make rolls?" And now I can add meat loaf to that list of delcacies I have made alone. But I will confess grocery shopping is a pain. How am I supposed to know if all cream cheese is created equal? And if not, which one is more equal? Turns out I bought the less equal one... I feel like a bumbling idiot sometimes. But they were delicious all the same.
Yours 'til the mud bawls,

Life with Miserella

One night Miserella and I were talking in the hallway, as we always do, and then Miserella started bouncing in her feet and that is most definitely contagious... When I started, though, my mind went straight to boxing. After I got into my boxing stance, Miserella stared reenacting Street Fighter. And as if it was meant to be the soundtrack to Mortal Combat was playing. We were round house kicking and punching down the hallway. Moana, she's one of our other roommates, heard the commotion and came out of her room into the hall... We have only just met, but she didn't ask for an explanation... Later in the night, Miserella decided to try on some of my high heels and walk down the hallway. There certainly was a spontaneous shoe show down our hallway...
Yeah... We're cool.

The Perils of a New Life

There are things in this life that I hate doing more anything else. They include, but are not limited to, finding a job, finding a place to live, buying and/or selling a car, and walking up stairs.
Number One - Finding a Job:
It's something that everybody wants, but not everyone can get. I have yet to find a job for this school year. Hopefully I can get to the part-time job fair in between my classes. When I was trying to explain the jobs fair to Monday, I kept calling it a carnival. Wouldn't that be amazing? You can get cotton candy and a job all in the same place! Talk about making a horrible experience better...
Number Two - Finding a Place to Live:
Everyone wants the cheapest housing and there seems to be less and less of it around these days.  Luckily, I have Princess Miserella. While I was in China, these months past, she emailed me to come back to Waverly Academy so we could live together again. I said sure because getting a real education... In accounting... Or spells and hexes... should be important to me. Any who, she found us a lovely little shanty called the Winter Woods. We happen to live on the third floor... with no elevators... and we have to park underneath... So many stairs... Our bathtub doesn't drain like it should, and while it's kind of annoying to shower in an inch of dirty water, I have spontaneously broken out into river dance and quite a party in the bathroom. Also my bedroom is absolutely dreary. I need it to be painted in order to fully create my own melancholy this semester.
Number 3: The Stairs
One day, whilst trudging up the staircase, I noticed some wasps hanging out on the wall. I monitored the situation and noticed that they were beginning to build a nest there. Although I am not opposed to these critters being alive, I do not want to be their neighbors. When I told the office girl about said problem, she simply replied, "That sounds bad," and then added it to her list of things to do. I understand that fixing drains and painting rooms are notable pursuits and valid issues, but I am talking about bugs that kill people! And I am speaking dramatically of a great many sci-fi movies. I gave the office two days to show that they cared about the wasp problem, but the wasps continued to build their nest. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I was speaking with Grandmama on the subject of what I could do to irradicate the wasps, and she said she had a wonderful poison that can shoot up to 22 ft. I thanked her for letting me borrow it, but I severely doubted the claims that it could reach far enough. I decided to go after them in the dead of night while they were sleeping.  This way they would wake-up and be dead. It is more humane that way. Well, I went out and took a test shot. OH MY GOODNESS!! They were not lying. My only hope is that no one was standing underneath the southeast stairwell because I really wasn't expecting that, and I may have missed the wall... Any way, after spraying the wasps, I ran like a bat to its cave into my apartment (just in case any of them weren't fully asleep and were angry that I tried to kill them.) The next morning, when I walked out into the living room, Miserella greeted me with a "good morning" and I answered, "Good morning!" and then lowering my voice to a creepy whisper, I stated, "I killed all the bugs." She just looked at me funny so I offered to show her the small pile of wasps in the corner of the stairwell. Yep I did that. Then I went and looked around the whole complex for more infestations because it was quite fun ridding our stairs of those pests.
The end... for now...

Falling Off the Edge of the Map

Well, true to form I have fallen off of the blogging cart.  Although I did go abroad for the first half of this year. I have been studying up on the languages and cultures of the world, and there's no place like home. Ophelia, however, has forbid from ever leaving the country again for more than a month without her, but she is far too busy becoming a doctor to do anything fun. Perhaps, we will go to Comic-Con this coming summer. Just to keep things fresh.
In other news, I've decided to return to college to find my passion, and I will find my passion, whether it is for a career or a man, I do not care. I will also attempt to get a degree where my major is not listed as "Personal Interest." Do not try to use your imagination to turn that into something cool and exciting. It just means that I take classes that personally interest me.  This semester I have landed on accounting. We shall see how that unfolds very soon, when classes start on Monday.
Speaking of Monday, my sister, she came down from the big city to visit me this weekend. Not very many shenanigans ensued, other than the spontaneous slapping fights we would get into. I'm so glad that I had brand new roommates to watch those precious family moments.
I suppose I shall make this a greater priority, and maybe get some pictures up. ^_^
Much love to my friends and family out there!

2012!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! After getting off work at 11:30 pm. I arrived home at promptly 11:58 pm. Ophelia was looking at FB, and it wasn't that entertaining. We watched the ball drop in Time's Square, pretty boring. Then I thought, I'm going to make a really cool New Year's Resolution. I'm going to take up Birding, and have a Big Year, like in that movie, which was awesome by the way. Maybe I'll come up with something better, that I could actually stick to, but probably not. Well... Later...

The Frump Sisters: The Few. The Proud. The Very Attractive.

Hello! I'm Morticia, and that girl over there playing Sonic on the iPad, is Ophelia.  There are a few more of us Frump sisters, like Tuesday, Thursday and Monday. They are arranged in order of age, which does tend to unsettle some people. We also have brothers, but they will not be introduced until that is necessary. We have decided to create this blog because our life is so amazing, adventurous and sometimes humorous, that people every where will want to enjoy it.
Right now nothing too exciting is happening, but Ophelia is testing the theory that holding your tongue out of your mouth will help you play the game better. I don't think it worked because she just gave up.
I suppose I have nothing more to say, and so I bid you, "Adieu."
